This page is 'color coded'

Survey Responses are this color: My replies & comments are this color:

Note: I've decided to start this page out with the opinion of Sarah Teague - mother of Heather Teague. Sarah was the first to respond - "before" I even managed to get the picture of The Bearded Man or the web page finished. Never the less, here it is:

"THERE WAS NO BEARDED MAN THAT TOOK HEATHER"

Sarah Teague

Note: Please bear in mind that the composite drawing [of a bearded man] as well as the two photo's of Marvin Dill [a bearded man] and Chris Below [also a bearded man] came from Sarah Teague's own web site:

Here's a quote from that web site: "The only eye witness was a man watching through a telescope who saw a bearded man snatch Heather up and drag her into the woods, to never be seen again."

Where Is Heather Teague

Page with photo's of Dill, Below & Composite

Response No. 1

Holy Moley! You can't get any better composite sketch than that!!!

Any LE responding to your website?? Was that sketch placed in the newspapers?

Please tell me someone from LE is interested. How can anyone think or say it might not be # 3?

J.A. - New York

In reply to [J.A. - New York]: LE = Law enforcement: There have been many individual police officers who have responded to my 'web site.' The responses have varied.

Since Heather Teague was abducted in 1995, I assume the composite sketch did appear in the news papers of Kentucky. However, photo number 3 is of a man who lives in Ohio, and I don't think the composite ever reached our news papers or tv stations....., which is a real shame, and a national disgrace [in my opinion.]

Yes, I have 'informed' law enforcement in Kentucky -- namely, Detective Tim Rascoe of the Kentucky State Police. That was taken care of 'before' I ever designed this web page. He has seen the photo's [more than just the one on the survey page] of number three [also called "Wild Bill" in many areas of this web site], and he was sent photo copies of my 1995 diary pages. Also, I designed 2 special pages for Det. Rascoe, on which several cases, and a great deal of information was given. Those pages are NOT available for public viewing at this time. However, the day is probably coming when I will modify them slightly and post them for everyone.

Response No. 2

Hi Bonnie,

The resemblance is striking between the composite and number three - The Bearded Man!

K.Y. - Michigan

The above response [K.Y. - Michigan] comes from a man whom I have worked with on another case .... a Missouri case that remains 'unsolved,' [temporarily], as we have located the women who have been missing since 1992. Now, all that remains is for law enforcement to unearth them, and test the remains for verification. Our 'discovery' was conducted in April of 2006, and verified by yet another person in June. So far, no action has been taken on the case, and there doesn't appear to be much interest in it.

Response No. 3

WOW...THIS IS SCARY.... NUMBER THREE GETS MY VOTE!

K.C. - Michigan

Response No. 4

Number 3, sure is the same guy.

D.H. - Ohio

Response No.5

Of course, who else could it be? The drawing almost looks like a real picture of #3.

The other two look kind of seedy but #3 is an exact.

N.P.- Arizona

PS. By the way. What a cool website.

Odd that [N.P. - Arizona] would say such a thing, because that's exactly what I thought the first time I laid eyes on the composite drawing!!

Of course I've witnessed this strange phenomena on several occasions - at least where The Bearded Man is concerned! So far it's all 'coincidence' -- or so I'm told!

Response No.6

After viewing all three pictures, the third bearded man's lips, eyes, eye brows and hair... is a person they better view further:

As to the others - their eye brows, hair line and lips don't match.

If you asked me the "# 3 bearded man" is your suspect.

P.A. - California

And I did 'ask' for P. A. - California's opinion: Here's another man with some experience in murder cases, as he was connected to a California case in which FBI Profiler John Douglas has written about. It too involved a psychopath who was stalking a girl, and eventually killed her.

Response No. 7

WOW. I would seriously question picture #3 as being just another look-a-like.

Good luck and please keep me posted!

N.H. - West Virginia

[N. - West Virginia] Now here's a response from a 'cop' - for those who wonder what the cops are saying!!

Response No. 8

It sure looks like the last one! Just my opinion but seems to be a complete match.

JS

Response No.9

LOOKS LIKE THE BEARDED MAN TO ME.

IS THIS THE SAME MAN THAT WAS OF INTEREST IN THE CRYSTAL SOLES MISSING PERSONS CASE?

CRYSTAL IS MY NIECE AND WE STILL DON'T HAVE ANY ANSWERS IN HER CASE.

IF YOU HEAR ANYTHING PLEASE LET US KNOW.

THANK YOU,

KEITH

Yes Keith, it's the same man that I spoke of on Crystal's page of my web site:

Response No. 10

# 3

M.C. - North Carolina

Guess [M.C. - North Carolina's] answer is 'to the point' enough to satisfy anyone!

Response No. 11

Ok, here is my opinion.... Marvin Dill .. may be the guy standing but absolutely not the face: Chris Below... again, may be the guy standing, but absolutely not the face:

"The Bearded Man"... Yes the hair is the same as the composite. The eyes are a bit off, but that could be due to the person making the composite drawing. The cheeks are puffier than the picture, but again it's a composite drawing.

The one standing...look at the way he holds his hands, and the way he stands. The side/back view of the hair is different than the photo, but again... a composite drawing.

Yes, "The Bearded Man - # 3" is the closest match.

J.S. - Ohio

Perhaps I should have explained this earlier: The photo of "The Bearded Man" was taken in, or about 1990 - five years 'before' Heather Teague disappeared.

He went to jail in 1994 for solicitation; exposure and threatening to rape a woman [along the Ohio River; in broad daylight; on a public street; in front of her small child; and in plain view of an apartment complex where any number of people could have seen what he was doing!] When he came to court in 1994, his hair was every bit as wild looking as the composite depicts.

And in 1995, at the time that Heather disappeared, his beard was shorter [as shown in the composite] the mustache did come down into the beard [as the composite shows] and his hair was in need of a trimming.

He changes his appearance often: Sometimes he dyes the beard and hair and wears both short; other times he lets both grow out a little and washes all the color from it. He also owns wigs that he wears on occasion:

One recent {early July 2006} report said he had grown his hair out long enough to wear in a pony tail!!! Wonder where that idea came from?

In 1995 his face was fuller than when the picture was taken in 1990. He had just gone to work for a 'river' company [June 1995] and his new job would often require traveling. One area that he would [and did] travel to was Kentucky. I was told he'd be working "all up and down the Ohio River," meaning north and south of Ohio.

It is a well known fact that he tells whatever woman he's shacking up with that he is 'spending days & nights' away from home due to his job. He is sometimes gone for 3 or 4 days at a time.

I know this man. I've been documenting things about this same man since 1990. He is NOT spending these days and nights on any 'job' except the 'job' he has selected ..... and that simply means that someone else is going to lose one of their family members sooner or later.

Response No. 12

Hi Bonnie,

I pick the Bearded man!

Hope all is well with you.

J.B. - South Carolina

Well, it looks as if [J. - South Carolina] is 'running with the pack' because so far The Bearded Man [number 3] is a winner - hands down!

Response No. 13

Bonnie,

The Bearded Man.

H. R. - the Carolina's

Response No.14

Bonnie,

Wow. That looks like the same person. Very creepy!

A. B. - West Virginia

Response No. 15

THE BEARDED MAN LOOKS MORE LIKE THE DRAWING THAN THE OTHER TWO.

AT LEAST IN MY OPINION HE DOES.

THANK YOU FOR KEEPING JOHN THRASHER ACTIVE ON YOUR WEBSITE.

WE STILL HAVE HEARD NOTHING FROM OR ABOUT HIM.....BUT I KNOW THAT SOMEWHERE THERE IS AN ANSWER AND WE WILL FIND IT.

THANKS

D. T. - Tennessee

Response No. 16

The drawing resembles the "bearded man" most , in my opinion.

The beard, hairline, mustache, and eyes are close.

L.B. - OHIO

Response No. 17

The "bearded man" [#3] of course

A.B. - West Virginia

Okay, we seem to have run into some confusion here.

I've received an answer that is confusing to me, so I'm going back to the "Seeking Your Opinion" page to try to straighten this out.

Meanwhile, since I promised to post my responses, here's the one that I found confusing.

Response No. 18

If all appearances Marvin Dill and the Bearded Man are one in the same....at least it appears that way with me.....

Therefore I vote Wells and Bearded Man.

J.M. - Ohio

****************

I requested clarification from [J.M. - Ohio] -- "Are you voting for Marvin Dill or # 3 The Bearded Man ? Which one?" -- and received the following:

Dill and the bearded man are the same person.......your "Wild Bill" .....

J.M. - Ohio

****************

I actually tried once more to clarify J.M.'s statements:

J.M.

I'm not going to post your reply on my response page because Marvin Dill 'was' the Kentucky State Police's 'suspect' in the abduction of Heather Teague. I say was because Marvin Dill committed suicide several years ago.

Marvin Dill had sandy brown hair, beard and mustache.

[Wild Bill] is very much alive and has dark [almost black] hair, beard and mustache when it's dyed - otherwise it is silver/white in color.

His hair, beard and mustache were dark in 1995 when Heather disappeared from a beach in Kentucky. [Wild Bill] was not home at the time of her disappearance.

I did not know about Heather's case until early this year. Then I was informed of it, and that's when I discovered the composite drawing of the man that an eyewitness said took Heather Teague.

The Kentucky state police believe Marvin Dill looks like the composite drawing: Heather's mother thinks the drawing looks like Chris Below - who is in an Ohio prison for killing his girlfriend.

Personally, I think the composite drawing looks EXACTLY like [Wild Bill]. But of course I couldn't use his correct name on the page I did up so I just called him "Person of interest number 3, and/or "The Bearded Man."

However, I do not think [Wild Bill] and Marvin Dill look anything alike, and I must confess that I am somewhat confused by your comparison, especially since Marvin Dill is a dead man and [Wild Bill] is still very much alive! They never were 'the same person.'

Marvin Dill lived in Kentucky. [Wild Bill] has always lived here in Ohio.

The Latest Reply From J.M. - Ohio

That is ok with me........I answered as I saw it......Dill's photo and the bearded man have the same nose and eye features.....head shape etc.

********************************************

And of course, my last response to J.M. - Ohio

J.M. - Ohio

I went ahead and posted your reply because maybe it's just confusing to me.

[Photo #2 - Marvin Dill ]and photo [# 3 - Wild Bill] are two different men. Marvin Dill is dead. He committed suicide. He never was the same person as Wild Bill.

All I wanted to know was which of the three men pictured looked the most like the composite drawing. The composite drawing is the small blue insert near each {picture} of each man.

Special Note:

I figured up Marvin Dill's age in 1995. He was 30 years old:

Whereas, [ Wild Bill / The Bearded Man / Photo #3,] was 42 years old: There again, the composite drawing depicts a man who appears to be more than 30 years old -- at least in my opinion.

Below are a couple more pictures of Wild Bill. One was taken when he was about 31 years old, and the other is when he was about 36 years old. At 31, his hairline is just beginning to recede. The picture at 36 shows a little more progression, and by his late 30's and into his forties, it was well defined, just like the composite drawing depicts, and just like the picture [on the Seeking Your Opinion page] shows.
